- you feel you might hurt yourself or someone else
Emergencies in children
Call 911 immediately or take your child directly to the closest E.R. if he or she has any of the symptoms listed above or any of the following:
- if you believe the child needs to be seen by a doctor right away
- he or she is being treated for a serious condition
- he or she is not acting like himself/herself
- you can't wake him or her
- he or she is very drowsy
